Strawberry picking!

We are so excited it is strawberry picking season!

This past weekend we took Meade and his friend Gabe to a local organic farm to pick/eat some strawberries.

I have to admit the picture that I took of Meade picking was the only strawberry he harvested.  

He preferred eating them and leaving the picking to mom!

Which worked out just fine.

Our May Pole

We were feeling creative this weekend and decided to make a May pole!

Our supplies consisted of:

cardboard from the inside of wrapping paper, 

finger paints,

strips of fabric,

and a bouquet from our garden.

It was simple and fun!  Meade really got into the finger paints!

Sweater

I am proud to announce...

I have completed knitting my very first sweater!

After searching the knitting section at our local library,

I stumbled upon this book,

It contains so many cute patterns it was hard to pick!
